I have useful things. Can I bring this myself?
You can donate your items at each store of RataPlan. This is always possible during the day from Monday to Saturday at our delivery of goods or warehouse. Employees are happy to help you with unloading your items.
Is it possible that RataPlan comes to collect useful items?
Yes that is possible. You can make an appointment to have your useful items collected. We will then arrive at the agreed day and time. You do not have to put the usable items outside, but we will get them from inside. We lift small household items for you from the floor. This may not be heavier than 12 kilos. Goods heavier than 12 kilos must be on the ground floor if there is no elevator.
How can I make an appointment for picking up goods?
You can make an appointment to collect things at your home in 3 ways. You can make an appointment by telephone via telephone number 088-8282782. You then get an employee on the line who has insight into our planning. In consultation you then schedule a time and day on which RataPlan comes to see you. You can also make an appointment through our online pick up service. Finally, you can make an appointment directly at the counter at one of the stores.
Are there costs involved in picking up goods?
Rataplan is happy to collect your unnecessary household goods and usable household goods for free of charge.
Does RataPlan deliver the stuff I bought?
Yes, that's possible. For example, if you have no transport, Rataplan can deliver your purchases throughout the region. Delivery costs are charged for this. Purchases are delivered indoors on the ground floor. When purchasing the product, you can make a delivery appointment at the cash register.
Which things can I donate?
All usable household items, if not broken or dirty, we like to collect them. For example: books, crockery, clothing, toys, furniture, lighting, audio & visual equipment etc.
What items does RataPlan not collect?
Chemical waste (paint, cleaning agents, etc.), tanning beds, batteries, car tires, pruning waste, construction & demolition waste. For this you can contact your municipality or bring it yourself to the waste depot in your municipality.
What does RataPlan do with unsalable stuff?
Items that prove unsalable will not be thrown away. Many can still be used as a raw material. That is why we separate all materials if they can not be repaired or sold.
Does RataPlan take my household belongings too?
It is possible. If you have a lot of things, it is nice that this is indicated when you make an appointment. We then make extra time for this in our planning. If necessary, please pack and / or dismantle all items in advance. We lift small household items for you from the floor. This may not be heavier than 12 kilos. Do I have a guarantee on purchases at RataPlan?
RataPlan provides a one-month warranty on all 2e hands electronic equipment above € 50. Warranty only applies if you can show a receipt.
Are all electronic devices tested?
All electronic devices are tested by our employees and are therefore working devices. If there is a device that you still need to repair yourself, this will be indicated. We cannot guarantee the operation of these devices.
My purchase does not work (good)
If on arrival you unexpectedly find that the electronic device (for which you have no guarantee from 1 month) does not work properly, you can return it no later than one day after purchase. For this you need the receipt as proof of purchase. We then check the device again. If it appears after an additional check that the device is not working, you can choose a replacement item. If this is not in stock then you have the choice between refunding your money or a voucher (RataBon).
Can I also exchange my purchases at RataPlan?
Exchange of purchases for something else or a different version is not possible at RataPlan. Nor can you return in exchange for a voucher or cash.
How long can I store purchased items at RataPlan?
If you cannot directly take your purchases or have them delivered, your purchases can be stored with us for a maximum of 3 days. After this, costs per item are charged for storage per day. If the goods have not been collected after 7 days, we will place these items back in the store for sale. The amount of the purchase minus storage costs will be reimbursed in this case.
Can I reserve items at RataPlan?
If you see something in one of our branches, you can only "reserve" it for the duration of that store visit. Report this to the cashier. Setting something aside and paying later is not possible at RataPlan.
Can I get money from my RataBon?
When you make a purchase with a RataBon, we do not give any money back. The voucher is also not redeemable for cash.
Does RataPlan only operate with volunteers?
No, the majority of the employees RataPlan are employed by the Foundation RataPlan. They have a full-time or part-time job here. In addition to the permanent staff, volunteers are also active in every branch.
How can I contact RataPlan?

Can I pay with pin at RataPlan?
You can pay your purchases with pin in every store. This is possible for any amount without costs. Extra cash withdrawal is not possible with RataPlan.
