I have useful things. Can I bring this myself?
You can still hand in salable household goods at each branch. This is always possible during the office opening hours without an appointment. You can drop them off at the delivery of goods or at the warehouse. Our employees are happy to help you with unloading!

Is it possible that RataPlan comes to collect useful items?
Yes that is possible. You can make an appointment to have your still usable items picked up. We will then visit you at the agreed time of day. We would like to ask you to offer the items on the ground floor, our employees do not collect items from floors.
How can I make an appointment for the collection of goods?
You can make an appointment to pick up your stuff in your home in 3 ways. You can make an appointment by phone at 088-8282782. You will then get an employee on the line who has insight into our planning. In consultation you then plan a part of the day on which RataPlan come to you. You can also make an appointment via our online pick up service. Finally, you can make an appointment directly at the counter at one of the shops.
Pay attention! You cannot make a pick-up appointment by e-mail.
Are there costs involved in picking up goods?
RataPlan will be happy to pick up your unnecessary household goods and useful household goods for free.
How do I know exactly when my items will be collected?
There are two time slots you can choose from when you have things picked up. You can choose the morning, this means between 09.00 a.m. and 13.00 p.m., or for the afternoon, this means between 13.00 p.m. - 18.00 p.m.
The driver makes his own route, so we cannot make any statements about the exact time to avoid disappointment. If you like it, we can call half an hour in advance that we will arrive. State this when making the appointment.
Does RataPlan deliver the stuff I bought?
Yes, that's possible. For example, if you don't have transportation, you can RataPlan deliver your purchases throughout the region. Delivery costs are charged for this. Purchases are delivered indoors on the ground floor. When purchasing the product, a delivery appointment is made immediately.
Which things can I donate?
All usable household items, if not broken or dirty, we like to collect them. For example: books, crockery, clothing, toys, furniture, lighting, audio & visual equipment etc.
What items does RataPlan not collect?
Chemical waste (paint, cleaning products, etc.), tanning beds, dark oak cabinets, dismantled cabinets, batteries, car tires, pruning waste, construction & demolition waste. For this you can contact your municipality or take it to the waste depot in your municipality yourself.
What does RataPlan do with unsalable stuff?
Items that prove unsalable will not be thrown away. Many can still be used as a raw material. That is why we separate all materials if they can not be repaired or sold.
Does RataPlan take my household belongings too?
Which can! If you have a lot of things, it is nice that this is indicated when you make an appointment. We then make extra time for this in our planning. Please pack all items in advance and / or disassemble if necessary. We lift small household items for you from the floor. This may not be more than 12 kilos. Goods weighing more than 12 kilos must be on the ground floor if there is no elevator.
Pay attention! We do not evacuate and only collect useful items. In some cases, someone comes in advance RataPlan look. The driver always has the final judgment as to whether something is usable or not.
Can you, for a fee, move things to my new home?
This is unfortunately not possible. RataPlan cannot be used to move things.
Can I rent your bus or truck?
Unfortunately this is not possible. However, some locations do have the option of borrowing a trailer. This can be used free of charge. However, a deposit is requested. Ask for the possibilities at the cash register of the relevant location.
Do I have a guarantee on purchases at RataPlan?
RataPlan provides a one-month guarantee on all second-hand electronic equipment above € 50. Warranty only applies if you can show a receipt.
Are all electronic devices tested?
All electronic devices are tested by our employees and are therefore working devices. If there is a device that you still need to repair yourself, this will be indicated. We cannot guarantee the operation of these devices.
My purchase is not working (properly). What now?
If on arrival you unexpectedly find that the electronic device (for which you have no guarantee of 1 month) does not work properly, you can return it no later than one day after purchase. For this you need the receipt as proof of purchase. We then check the device again. If, after additional checking, it appears that the device is not working, you can choose a replacement item. If this is not in stock then you have the choice between your money return or a voucher (RataBon).
Can I also exchange my purchases at RataPlan?
Have you made a purchase but does this item not turn out to be what you had hoped? Then you can exchange or return your purchase within 5 working days. It is good to realize that exchanging a product is not like in a regular store. RataPlan has no products in stock. Depending on the current offer, you can choose a different product instead of the previous purchase. A full return is also possible. The exchange or return is of course always with the receipt and the price sticker must still be on the product (for clothing it is important that the price tag is still attached to the clothing). When you return an electronic device, bring the receipt with the serial number of the device on the back. The serial number is written on the receipt by the cashier when purchasing the product.
How long can I store purchased items at RataPlan?
Can't take your purchases with you or have them delivered? Then your purchases can be stored with us for a maximum of 3 days. After this, costs per item for storage are calculated per day. If the goods have not been picked up after 1 week, we will place these items back in the store for sale. The amount of the purchase minus storage costs will be reimbursed in this case.
Can I reserve items at RataPlan?
If you see something in one of our branches, you can only "reserve" it for the duration of that store visit. Report this to the cashier. Having something set aside and paying later is not possible RataPlan.
Can I get money from my RataBon?
When you make a purchase with a RataBon, we do not give any money back. The voucher is also not redeemable for cash.
Does RataPlan only operate with volunteers?
No, the majority of the employees RataPlan are employed by the Foundation RataPlan. They have a full-time or part-time job here. In addition to the permanent staff, volunteers are also active in every branch.
How can I contact RataPlan?

Can I pay with pin at RataPlan?
You can pay your purchases with pin in every store. This is possible for any amount without costs. Extra cash withdrawal is not possible with RataPlan.
Has RataPlan a customer card?
We are working hard on that at the moment! To ensure that our new customer pass program will run smoothly in the future, we will start a small trial in the thrift store in the summer of 2022.
