Bicycle repair shop & plant shelter
RataPlan Nieuwegein is 'more than a thrift store'. Naturally, recycling fans can count on a wide range of second-hand items, consisting of clothing, furniture, books, household items, curiosities and much more. In the cozy coffee corner they can take a well-deserved shopping break while enjoying fresh coffee or tea with a pastry or sandwich. There is also a bicycle workshop on Ravenswade 54. This is where bicycle mechanics break RataPlan bicycles brought in and they are also ready to tinker with customers' bicycles.
Finally, the store has its own plant shelter: in the brand new plant department, shoppers can donate their discarded houseplants – or 'adopt' new green friends.
