Petra van Egmond has lived in Berkel en Rodenrijs for 11 years. She pays a weekly visit to the cycle. The branch in Berkel en Rodenrijs has of course reopened in 2019 at a new location after a major fire and offers a wide range of second-hand items. “After the fire they got a nice building, I can stroll around there,” says Petra. Petra prefers to shop on her own, strolling around at her leisure looking for new things for the daycare.
Combining hobby and work
Combine your hobby with your work. Petra knows how to do that. Petra works as childminder of Alice reception and therefore regularly needs new toys or fun children's books. Let the thrift store offer these items now and Petra love a visit to the thrift store. She does this every week and takes plenty of time for it. This way she can stroll around looking for nice items.
Toy department known territory
Petra: “Due to the low prices it is nice to buy something new for the daycare”. Generous donors bring in hundreds of new items every day RataPlan. That way, there is always something new in the store. “Whether it's reading books or other toys, I always come out with something. Also objects used as open-ended game ”, says Petra. That is a toy without an imposed play pattern. This way your child can let his or her imagination run wild. For example, a wooden arch can be used one day as a bridge for cars and the next day for building. The toy department is therefore familiar territory for Petra.
Reuse
Petra likes the idea that things can be reused and do not have to be newly produced. Only last year is already there RataPlan more than 8.200 tons of goods are brought to our thrift stores, most of which is reused.
What Petra likes most about the cycle? '' The anticipation! You never know what you will find. I always come out happy when I pass. '' The urban jungle twin car is her best purchase. "I enjoy it so much". We can imagine that as a childminder of several children. How convenient is it to be able to transport them in a twin car.
