Cooking is often a bit hectic. And where should you put the cookbook or your iPad without it getting wet or dirty. And putting it against the wall or flat on the counter is not very convenient. Is this recognizable? Then this upcycle is for you. No more dirty cookbooks or awkward looking on the iPad with this durable stand.
Supplies
- Wooden cutting board
- Photo frame in the size of the cutting board
- 2 door knobs
- Boor
- Pencil
- Wood glue
- Tape measure or ruler
Step-by-step plan standard
Step 1: choose a wooden cutting board. One that you no longer use or go with the cycle looking for a nice cutting board. Make sure it is clean.
Step 2: Measure out where the doorknobs should be and mark this on the cutting board.
Step 3: then drill the holes at that spot. Make sure the holes are big enough for the doorknobs, but not too loose as they must be able to be turned tightly.
Step 4: remove the back of the photo frame from the frame and remove any hooks. Draw drill holes again and drill two holes in the back of the photo frame in the same place.
Step 5: stick the back of the picture frame to the back of the cutting board with a generous amount of wood glue.
Step 6: now turn the doorknobs into the cutting board and attach it to the back.
Step 7: let it dry completely and then it is ready for use. You can put cookbooks on it or your iPad if you have your recipes on it (or you can watch your series while cooking of course).
