Conditions of sale

In our sales conditions you will find all information for purchases at a thrift store RataPlan. Among other rules concerning product prices, exchange or return, delivery and collection of purchases and guarantee can be found in these conditions.

About prices
We try to price our products as well as possible. It may happen that this does not go well. If you think so, you can always check with the manager. Prices cannot be negotiated and items without a price are not sold. You can have these priced at the cash register, or we will send them back to the sorting department, after which they will come back priced in the store.

About exchange and return
You cannot exchange your purchases for another product, money, or a voucher. This is different if it is covered by the warranty, read more about it under the heading "About warranty". If you purchase something with a gift voucher, we will not return any money. For example, do not pay with a gift voucher of 10 euros if you have to pay 5 euros. The other way round is of course fine, you can always pay for something from 10 euros by using a gift voucher of 5 euros and adding 5 euros.

About delivery and collection of purchases
We are happy to deliver! Easy for you and a small effort for us. We do charge delivery costs for this. We only deliver products on the ground floor. Make sure you take your receipt with you when picking up goods. This is your proof of payment and gives you a warranty claim.

We can store your purchases without delivery agreement for a maximum of 3 days. After this we charge 10 euros per day per item. After 1 week without contact, your purchase returns to the store. The value of your purchase will then be reimbursed minus storage costs in the form of a voucher.

In the unlikely event that your purchase cannot come in, because it does not fit, for example, you can choose something else or you will receive a gift voucher worth the purchase amount minus the delivery costs. We cannot return money.

About guarantee and reservation
Second-hand devices above the 50 euro have a one-month warranty. With washing machines and refrigerators you only get a guarantee if they have been delivered by us. Our electronic devices have been functionally tested unless we have indicated otherwise.

Does your device not work? Too bad, that's not the intention! Come back to the store no later than 1 the day after your purchase. Take the receipt with you. We will then test the device again. If it doesn't work, you can exchange it for a similar device. If we do not have that in stock, you can choose from a gift voucher or you will get your money back.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve items. The item is only yours after you have paid.

About theft and damage
Of course we hope that this will never happen, but if we suspect theft we may carry out bag checks. Theft is always reported to the police and you get a fine of 151 euros, which can be increased by, for example, the costs of damage.

RataPlan is not liable for damage to purchased items and for loss of property.

Just now rataplan Hoogvliet visited. I belong to the risk group and I liked it after more than a year, finally using one shop appointment to be able to browse corona safe. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like that. Because as a visitor you are very neatly and clearly pointed out to the corona rules, including keeping your distance and a mouth mask required. Unfortunately, I have not seen any employee who adhered to it. They themselves have the mouth caps hanging under the nose or on an ear, so not at all safe. And where I am looking at a shelf, a co-worker comes standing next to me to replenish things. I said something about it and got no response, she just does it a second time. Tis that I myself walk back to keep my distance. Sorry, but I think this is not possible for (vulnerable) visitors. In addition, I think rataplan the most expensive among the thrift stores.

Dear Arie, thank you for the response. We will deal with this internally immediately. Our employees are supposed to be Stick to the rules, because many of our employees also belong to the risk group and are therefore more vulnerable. We apologize for the inconvenience and we hope that you have nevertheless been able to find nice things during your shopping session.
